Today is the one year anniversary of my blog! I'm so happy to have started this journey a year ago. I have made some wonderful friends from blogging. So, to celebrate, I'm going to be giving away some great prizes. Since this is my first attempt at a blog giveaway, we will see how this goes. I created the following for a recent challenge from Louise at Bumble Button. Our challenge was to create a Jane Austen calling card. I personally love Jane Austen. The books, movies, I'm just in love with them all! Can you tell which is my favorite?

The beautiful image came from IrelandRose Nostalgia's etsy shop. I just love her images! You should check her out sometime. I also used a texture from Playing With Brushes and one from Shadowhouse Creations. And of course, my favorite quote from my favorite Jane Austen book/movie. I hope everyone enjoys!

First Post of 2011......Upcoming Blog Giveaway.......Beautiful Fossil Angel

This month is the anniversary of one year of blogging. To celebrate this great event, I'm going to be having a blog giveaway. I'll be posting more about this coming soon, but there will be wonderful giveaways from some great artist that I love to follow.
Speaking of a great artist.....when I first started thinking of this blog giveaway, I knew there were certain people I wanted to have be a part of this event. Verna from Bird, Bee and Bloom was one of them. I don't know if you noticed that during her blog giveaway, she kept posting these wonderful little angels on the side of her blog. I asked Verna about creating one special for the blog giveaway, and she has. But, to my delite and great surprise, when I received the package last week, she had made a special angel just for me. And today, I'm posting this beautiful little angel! Isn't she just special? I am in love with her!!
